When I was 17 years old I used to play in a punk band. Now, 11 years later I work for one of the largest banks in Europe as a data/process analyst (love the job!). I didn’t sell out, I just changed. Luckily, we all do.
In past I used to work as a graphic/content designer of sorts, although I didn’t have any official training in design, just a passion for it (I actually studied Information Management). At that time finding the right niche and thus inventing my own job was the only way I could think of to pay for life necessities like food or flat next to the beach. It was a great ride (quite literally since I started surfing as well) and I have learnt so much in a very short time — mostly about myself.
However, one winter day when snowboarding in the Alps I realized I love my family (and ice hockey) too much not to be with them, so I moved from Porto, Portugal back home to the place where I belong — Prague, Czech Republic. These two years living abroad have changed me deeply and I'm curious what my next chapter is going to be like. Another adventure starts now!
